Downloading documents
We find it useful to place many documents on our site in Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft formats for downloading. This allows users of our site to view and print documents from the web in a suitable format and also allows users to save these files to their own computers.
In order to read documents in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) your computer must have a small program installed called Acrobat Reader. Click here to download the latest version of the reader - it is free and should not take more than a few minutes to download. If you use screen reading software or other assistive technology, the Access Adobe website offers support and tools to help you access PDF documents.
Other documents on this site are available for download in Word , Excel , or Powerpoint format. Most computers already have these programs installed but some do not. If you don't have a copy, you can download the Microsoft Word Viewer, the Microsoft Excel Viewer or the Microsoft Powerpoint viewer free of charge.
Depending on the setup of your browser, files will either open automatically, or you will get the option to "Open" or "Save" the file.
Saving the file will download and save the file to your PC, so you will also be able to access it at a later date. Opening the file will simply open the file in your browser but you will not be able to access it later unless you re-visit the site.
