Just one month to go until we open our new hospital

02/09/2019 00:00
The new Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals will open on Huntley Street at the start of October.

Next door to the Macmillan Cancer Centre and close to University College Hospital, the new facility will be one of Europe’s largest centres for the treatment of head and neck conditions, including dental, ENT and hearing speech and balance.

All services which are currently based Eastman Dental Hospital and all outpatient services based at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital are moving to the new hospital. Wards, theatres and sleep diagnostics will remain at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital on Gray’s Inn Road until 2020, when Phase 4, our other major development, a cancer and surgery facility, opens.

The EDH services move first, with the services opening to patients on 1 October. RNTNEH service will start treating patients at the new location the following week.

Marcel Levi, CEO said “It is a very busy and exciting time as we count down to the new facility opening in October. Here patients will be treated by the same expert clinical teams but in a much more modern environment allowing further improvements to their care."

You can read about the new hospital here and a patient information leaflet is also available.
