Professional background

Christina qualified at St George’s Hospital Medical School in 1990. Her postgraduate medical training combined general and community paediatrics, neurodisability, neurology and epilepsy. She completed the MSc in Community Paediatrics at the Institute of Child Health in 2002 with distinction. Her first consultant appointment was at the Royal Free Hospital in 2005 . Christina joined the general paediatric team at UCLH in 2007 and was also the Clinical Director for the paediatric and adolescent service from 2007-2012. She currently works at University College Hospital  full time as a general paediatrician with an interest in epilepsy and is also the liaison paediatrician for the emergency department. In addition to her clinical work Christina is responsible for departmental simulation and postgraduate education.
