After undergraduate training at St Thomas' Hospital Medical School in London I trained in General Surgery gaining the FRCS (Eng) in 1981. I subsequently did 2 years training in ENT Surgery before training in Audiovestibular Medicine at the Royal National Throat, Nose & Ear Hospital.
I have been a consultant in the Nuffield Hearing & Speech Centre of the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital since 1993. My special interest is in paediatric Vestibular Medicine and I have run the Paediatric Neurovestibular clinic for 20 years. I am currently the chair of the Specialty Advisory Committee in Audiovestibualr Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians
