Professional background

Katharine Hunt is a Consultant Anaesthetist at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Chair of the UCLH Resuscitation Committee. She qualified from St George's Hospital Medical School in 1994 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 1998. She took up the post of Consultant Anaesthetist in September 2003. Her key interests are in anaesthesia for the brain and spine, resuscitation and risk management. She is currently a Regional Representative for the UK Resuscitation Council and is also Risk Lead for Queen Square Division at UCLH.
