Professional background

Liz Prvulovich studied medicine at Manchester University, training subsequently in Cardiology at King's College Hospital, London, where she completed a Nuclear Cardiology MD, and then in Nuclear Medicine at UCLH. She was appointed Consultant Physician in Nuclear Medicine at UCLH in 1998, and maintains a keen interest in Nuclear Cardiology both through her clinical work in the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and via the British Nuclear Cardiology Society of which she is a Past President. She contributed to the recent sucessful NICE Health Technology Appraisal of Myocardial Perfusion Imaging and has contibuted to Britiish and European Procedural Guidelines for Myocardial Perfusion Imaging    
Liz is Educational Lead for the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and currently holds the posts of National Training Programme Director in Nuclear Medicine and Vice Chair of the RCP Specialist Advisory Committee in Nuclear Medicine.

Author of 37 full papers, many of which relate to nuclear cardiology, plus 12 review articles, one textboook on nuclear cardiology, four book chapters and two sets of  Nuclear Cardiology Procedural Guidelines.
