University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre

The Cancer Centre welcomed its first patients on Monday 2nd April 2012. If your appointment is due to take place in the Cancer Centre we will write to you before your appointment date explaining where to go and what you will need to do upon arrival in the Centre.

Getting to the Cancer Centre

The Cancer Centre is served by two lifts: the house lift and the garden lift. These lifts provide access to different parts of the Centre. Please check your appointment letter to see which lift you should use or ask at reception.

Please note that the Cancer Centre is inside the congestion charge zone and there is very limited car parking in the vicinity, so we advise against travelling by car unless essential. Staff in the Cancer Centre can advise you on the eligibility criteria for disabled parking, and for claiming back fares and the congestion charge.

Please also note that the Cancer Centre has been built on the site of the old Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Obstetric Hospital and some maps will still reflect the original use.
