The Trust has 32 operating theatres in all, including 12 in the main hospital at UCLH. There is a dedicated education and training team who have links with South Bank University and Anglia and City universities. The team is responsible for the staff development and facilitation of learners in the department and they include student nurses/midwives/operating department practitioners, paediatric nurse rotation programme, postgraduate theatre, anaesthetic and recovery courses.
