How are we funded?

The Macmillan Support and Information Service is currently funded by the NHS and University College Hospital Cancer Fund. This Fund has been created to support important areas of University College Hospital’s work above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide, including additional medical equipment, research and staff training. It also helps to finance improvements to the patient and staff environment.

If you would like to help all those affected by cancer, either by making a donation or helping us to fundraise, please visit www.uchcancerfund.org.uk, or contact us on
020 3447 1885 or cancerfund@uclh.nhs.uk.

Macmillan Cancer Support does not provide ongoing funding for the service – it gave a generous donation to the building of the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre, where our service is located. UCLH and Macmillan continue to work together to keep improving cancer care and support.

Please note that our complementary therapies service is funded by the UCH Cancer Fund, Haematology Cancer Care, and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
