  • Cancer Support Group

    The Cancer Support Group is a one hour support group for any adult affected by cancer.  The group provides a safe, relaxed space for you to chat with others about your experience of being affected by cancer.  Everyone is welcome including cancer patients, family and friends.  Each session includes a guest speaker plus time for conversation, sharing experiences or just listening.

    When?

    The group meets every fourth Wednesday of the month from 16.00-17.00

  • Haematology Support Group

    The support group provides a relaxed space where any adult affected by haematological conditions can meet and share information, ask questions of specialist staff and be supportive to each other. The group welcomes patients, family and friends. The group is jointly facilitated by a haematology counsellor, a volunteer, and a support and information specialist.

    When?

    The group meets every second Wednesday of the month from 5.30 - 7.30pm

  • Penile and Urethral Support Group

    A monthly support group for those affected by penile or urethral cancer. The session includes a guest speaker on a topic of interest, and then an opportunity for talking to others, sharing experiences or simply listening.

    When?

    The group meets every first Tuesday of the month from 12pm - 1.30pm

  • Bladder Cancer Support Group

    A monthly support group for patients affected by bladder cancer and those close to them. On alternate months, the first part is led by a guest speaker on a topic of interest to the group and the second part allows for talking to others, sharing experiences or simply listening. Every other month there is no guest speaker.

  • Prostate Cancer Group

    A monthly support group for men with prostate cancer. On alternate months, the first part is led by a guest speaker on a topic of interest to the group and the second part allows for talking to others, sharing experiences or simply listening.  Every other month there is no guest speaker.

  • Laryngectomee Club

    The Laryngectomee Club welcomes anyone who has had a laryngectomy and their family members. The club aims to help people living with a laryngectomy to share experiences, ask questions and offer advice.

    When?

    The club meets every eight weeks, please contact us for the next set of dates. 1.30-3.30pm.

    1.30pm to 3.30pm on the following Thursdays:
    5 April, 7 June, 2 August and 4 October
    1pm to 4pm on 6 December (Christmas get-together)
