Help plan our cancer services

We are seeking members to apply to join our Cancer Patient and Public Advisory Group (CPPAG) to help our patients, carers and members of the public work with our staff to inform how we plan and manage our cancer services. This will help us make sure we consider the things that matter most to the people who have experience of these services. We are looking for the following to get involved in the group:

  • UCLH patients
  • carers or family members who have looked after someone undergoing cancer treatment at UCLH
  • London residents

To find out more and to complete the ‘expression of interest form’ contact Javed Ahmed, Patient and Public Involvement Coordinator by email at javed.ahmed@uclh.nhs.uk by no later than Wednesday 20 January 2016.

UCLH Improving Experience Group

UCLH has recently set up a group to look at patient and staff experience and would like two patient representatives to join the Improving Experience Group (IEG). The IEG gives critical and objective oversight of patient and customer experience issues to ensure UCLH achieves its experience objectives.

The group, chaired by the Chief Nurse, meets monthly. We’re looking for people with a keen interest in patient and staff experience who have been a patient or carer at UCLH within the last six months and who can commit to serving on the group for one year.

For more information contact Hannah Miller at hannah.miller@uclh.nhs.uk | Telephone 020 3447 2679 from the 4 January 2016.
