We are proud that our work has been officially recognised by winning or being shortlisted for the following awards.

In November 2011, we were delighted to be named London’s top NHS hospital trust by Dr Foster, an independent organisation helping patients make informed decisions about their health. Two of the Trust’s hospitals, the Heart Hospital and the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (RLHIM) were also named as hospitals most likely to be recommended based on patient feedback.

The children and young people’s team won an award for ‘Enhancing Quality and Efficiency in services for children and young people’ for their work with children and young people with diabetes. The winning campaign aims to ‘make every young person with diabetes matter’.

The Trust has won an award for its innovative staff training – recognised as among the best on offer in the capital. UCLH won first prize in a London Deanery Annual competition to promote “excellence in education”, after its After Action Review and WHO Safe Surgery Checklist programmes were singled out for praise.
