Celebrating Excellence Awards

At UCLH, we are extremely proud of our staff and their dedication to delivering the best care for our patients. If you have been treated or looked after by an exceptional member of staff, or a volunteer, we would love you to tell us about it. Our annual Celebrating Excellence Awards are now open, and you have until October 20th 2017 to submit your nominations. Finalists will be announced in January 2018, and will be invited to attend our awards ceremony funded by the UCLH charity. You can find out more about some of our previous winners and finalists below.

  • Past winners

  • Imran Hussain, Patient Nominated Values Award, 2015 Winner

Winning the kindness award made me feel that I have been valued for my work and having a positive impact on patient lives. As a student pharmacy technician it had boosted my confidence in progressing to a pharmacy technician.
  • Pragna Shah, Volunteer of the Year Award, 2015 Winner

Winning my 2015 Volunteer of the year award was an incredible experience and I felt very honoured.

Working without pay but making patients welcome at the Cancer Centre was so rewarding. It has given me an invaluable life experience.

Winning has also made a great difference to me as it has encouraged me to always try and go that extra mile every time.
