Childcare 

Our dedicated childcare coordinator gives advice and information on childcare both within the Trust and outside. We offer advice and help with staff going on and returning from maternity leave, working tax and child credits, childcare vouchers, how to find a childminder, navigating benefits and local and national government support.

We offer childcare provision at the UCLH Nursery, called the Mousehole Nursery, with places available for babies and children aged from five months to five years.  There is a salary sacrifice option available for nursery fees.  We also have links with some other nurseries. The Mousehole nursery is located at 23 Devonshire Street, London, W1G 6PG. The telephone number is 020 7935 5228.

  • The nursery are open Monday to Friday from 7.30am – 5.30pm (closed bank holidays).
  • Hot meals and snacks are provided for the children. The food provided reflects the cultural backgrounds of the children and is chosen to provide a balanced diet.
  • The nursery is staffed by a team of qualified, caring and educated early years practitioners
  • The nursery provides a whole range of learning opportunities to help children reach their full potential
  • The curriculum framework EYFS is carefully planned and implemented
  • The day is structured, but allows plenty of time for free expression and play. We believe that nursery should be a happy, fun and enjoyable experience.
  • Our nursery registered with and inspected by OFSTED and on it's last inspection the nursery and playscheme received a Good rating.
