30 years of supporting patients with hearing disorders

The Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its Adult Audiology Centre with an open day on June 27.

Patients, the public and staff are invited to attend between 1pm and 5pm to get an insight into the centre which is renowned nationally and internationally as a leader in its work.

The centre hosts the prestigious Department of Adult Audiovestibular Medicine – a national centre of excellence for the investigation and non-surgical management of adults with hearing disorders including tinnitus, hyperacusis, misophonia and auditory processing disorders and balance (and disequilibrium).

The service is unique offering a wide range of clinical skills many of which are unavailable in any other department in the UK.

The afternoon will be a celebration of the centre’s work over 30 years and many of the organisations associated with the centre will also be there. Including:

  • Stage Text
  • Hearing Link
  • Gordon Morris- Hearing solutions for the hard of hearing.
  • Cochlear

The centre is located in Swinton Street, London WC1X 8DA.
