A long weekend of parties and pageantry is planned to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June.

HM the Queen visiting Arthur Stanley House

There will be a four-day weekend from June 2 to June 5 to mark 60 years of the Queen’s reign. Thousands of visitors will be coming to London to join the festivities and patients need to bear this in mind when planning their journeys to any of the Trust's hospitals.

Please consult theTransport for London website before you travel. Several road closures and the majority of bridges over the Thames will be closed over the weekend and the advice from TfL is not to drive into London. If you travel by bus check for diversions on the TfL website.

If you are unable to attend your appointment please call the contact number on your appointment letter.

Patients, staff and visitors entered into the party spirit at University College Hospital to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.  Patients enjoyed an afternoon tea with bunting and union jack flags hung across wards to create a celebratory atmosphere.  Patient Brian Fowler and student nurse Aneesah Peersaib enjoyed music performed by singer and guitarist Paul Kerr.
