Live web chat about children and young people's diabetes

With Halloween and half term just around the corner, it’s a time for fun, sweets and treats. But what if you have diabetes? Our award winning children and young people’s diabetes team are on a mission to make sure that diabetes doesn’t get in the way of living life to the full, whatever day it is. So if you’re a parent or carer of a child or young person with diabetes, from just diagnosed to having lived with the condition for some time and want to know about future research breakthroughs, our expert, Professor Peter Hindmarsh is on hand to answer your questions in our live web chat. Peter is a professor of paediatric endocrinology at University College London and honorary consultant paediatric endocrinologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital and part of the multi-disciplinary award winning children and young people's diabetes service at UCLH

Joining a web chat is easy – just go to www.uclh.nhs.uk/t1chat  at 2pm on 29 October and type your question. There’s no need to register and you can dip in and out or just watch the conversation. If you prefer you can send us a question in advance (email to webmaster@uclh.nhs.uk) and Professor Hindmarsh will answer it on the day. We look forward to hearing from you.

You can set your email reminder in the window below for the web chat by entering your email address.
