The prestigious brain tumour service at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery is the latest specialty to get an online makeover.

The new site includes information about the different types of brain tumour treated at UCLH, a Meet the Team section and stories from Debbie, Pete and Illana, who share their experiences of being patients treated here.  The site was developed and tested with patients.

Naomi Fersht, consultant clinical oncologist and multi-disciplinary team lead for the brain tumour team, said: “The treatment of brain tumours is very complex and this care can involve many different teams.

“The new website explains the treatments for the different types of brain tumours for both patients, carers and professionals and also what each member of the team does.

“Patients and carers need good quality information and we hope this this new website will help patients through what can be a really challenging time.”
