Eastman Dental Hospital phone numbers changed

18/04/2011 00:00

From 17 April all phone numbers at the Eastman Dental Hospital have changed. This is part of a project to change all telephone numbers across UCLH.

  • From 17 April 2011 the new Eastman Dental Hospital switchboard number is 020 3456 7899 (replacing 020 7915 1000)
  • The external prefix to Eastman extension numbers have changed to 020 345 followed by the new extension number.
  • All Trust telephone numbers are changing between April and September 2011.

There are two main reasons for the change:

  • To remove duplicate numbers, simplifying our full telephone numbers for people calling us from outside the Trust.
  • To deal with the shortage of numbers and to give us capacity for new technology.

Example of new numbers

Current extension 1111 will become ext 61111 and direct dial will become 020 3456 1111.

Please note

There will be no change to the University College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust main switchboard number 0845 155 5000. There is a new alternative switchboard number 020 3456 7890. Callers are asked to please check their telephone provider charges before deciding which number will be cheaper to use because individual packages will vary. New telephone numbers will be on patient letters and our external website. You may hear a message about the change if you call an old number after this date.
