Industrial action - 24 November

21/11/2014 00:00
University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) intends to operate most of its services as usual during a 4 hour strike on 24 November.

The strike is in response to the Government’s decision on the 2014/15 NHS pay award.

Our priority on will be to maintain emergency services, active and current cancer treatment and specific work that has been identified and agreed as clinically urgent.

Although some surgery lists may start later in the day, emergency lists will be covered throughout the strike period.

The safety of our patients is our top priority and we will be carrying out ongoing assessments during the industrial action to ensure we can maintain services. Should it become necessary to cancel any procedures patients will be contacted immediately.
