Make time for what matters in life by joining us for our own World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and help raise more than £10.8m for Macmillan Cancer Support!

Coffee and cakes will be served in the University College Hospital Macmillan Cancer Centre and in the UCH atrium on September 28 from 9.30am to 12noon.

At 22 years old, the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s flagship fundraiser. There couldn’t be an easier way to make a difference, and every donation for some tasty treats will help Macmillan’s ambition to provide support to everyone affected by cancer.

The new Cancer Centre is the embodiment of our partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support who bring 100 years’ experience of developing innovative, ground-breaking services which put the needs of patients and families at the heart of cancer care. But it is not just about the building. The centre is redefining the way patients are treated. It has wellbeing, rehabilitation and living with cancer at the heart of its philosophy. For example, a web-hosted `patient portal’ which gives patients more control over their care and the Macmillan Support and Information Service. This is supported by the very best diagnostic and treatment techniques to improve survival rates, including the UK’s first PET MR scanner, delivering the most accurate information from deep inside the body during a single scanning session.
