London terror attack

04/06/2017 00:00
We treated four patients at University College Hospital following the terror attacks in London.

Two of these patients were discharged and two were admitted. One of these admissions has since been transferred to another hospital.

The hospital responded very well during the incident. Our well-rehearsed major incident plan was activated and extra theatres were opened.

We would like to thank our staff for their exceptional professionalism and compassion during such difficult circumstances.

We are very proud of our teams and all of the emergency services who responded to the incident.

Our thoughts remain with all of those affected by these tragic events.
