Web chat: Love your heart this Valentine’s Day in our web chat

11/02/2013 00:00

On 14 February 2013 at 2.30 – 3.30pm make a date to ask consultant cardiologist Dr Malcolm Walker your questions about heart health.

We are hosting our second web chat giving members, patients and the general public the opportunity to get their questions answered by a leading expert.  We’re focusing on heart health as it’s St Valentine’s Day and February is also the British Heart Foundation’s National Heart Month.

 Dr Malcolm Walker

Dr Malcolm Walker is based at The Heart Hospital and University College Hospital.  He is a highly experienced specialist treating many patients during heart attacks and crucially, helping them lead healthy lives after they have suffered heart problems. He’s also actively involved in research including heart complications in non-cardiac conditions, such as Sickle Cell disease and has a particular interest in cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation services.  So, whether you’ve experienced heart problems before and have some unanswered questions, or are just interested in what you can do to minimise the risk of heart disease in the future, Dr Walker will be here to advise.

The web chat will be online for an hour from 2.30pm – 3.30pm on Thursday 14 February 2013. Joining in is easy – you don’t have to register, simply visit www.uclh.nhs.uk/chatheart on the day and type away.

You can also submit your questions via email prior to the event by emailing webmaster@uclh.nhs.uk.

Date for your diary

The subject of the next web chat will be prostate cancer with pioneering specialist Professor Mark Emberton answering your questions on Tuesday 5 March from 11.30 – 12.30pm. Visit our web chat page for information on upcoming web chat events.
