Opportunity to input into review of services at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre

11/07/2019 00:00
The NHS in the East of England and North London is leading a review of services at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

Run by East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and delivered from a North Middlesex site managed by the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the standalone cancer centre serves a population of more than two million people from Hertfordshire, south Bedfordshire, North West London and Berkshire.

The review includes working with staff and patients at Mount Vernon, with other local hospitals and commissioners, and with the local Cancer Alliances to look at how the needs of local people can be best met. This will include developing options that will build on the services, research and patient experience the Centre already delivers

A number of engagement event are being held in July to ensure patients are involved in the review. To find out more visit https://www.healthwatchhertfordshire.co.uk/news/mount-vernon-cancer-centre-review/
