Web chat: Ask an expert about Parkinson’s Disease

21/04/2015 00:00
To mark this year’s Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Week we have an expert in movement disorders hosting our next web chat.

Dr Mark Edwards is a consultant neurologist at the world renowned National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery where he runs specialist outpatient clinics – he is also a senior lecturer at the UCL Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Dr Edwards’ clinical and research interests are in movement disorders (Parkinson’s disease, atypical Parkinsonism, tremor, dystonia, myoclonus, tics and chorea). So if you or a loved one are newly diagnosed, living with Parkinson’s (or another  movement disorder) or want to find out about latest research, put a question to Dr Edwards in our web chat.

Web chats are easy to join – just visit this page on the time and date specified and join in the conversation.  You can also set a reminder in the window below.  Questions can be put to webmaster@uclh.nhs.uk in advance and they’ll be answered on the day.
