The Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health’s (ISEH) annual run is back! Will you be on the starting line?

Date: Sunday 24 June 2018
Registration opens: 8.30am
Start Time: 10am
Location: The Hub, Regent’s Park, London NW1 4RU

The fun-filled 5K and 10K runs will take place on Sunday 24 June – Midsummer’s Day – in the beautiful surroundings of Regent’s Park.

The ISEH run is a great way to get active - something which we are passionate about at UCLH.

You can choose a 5K or 10K route – they will be chip-timed and fully signed and marshalled. There will also be a 2.5K route.

You don’t have to run - you can walk or jog on your own or with friends, family and colleagues and enjoy the park's amazing scenery as you go.

The route is flat so ideal for all ages and fitness levels.

Dr Mike Loosemore, of the ISEH, said: “All recent research shows that the sedentary lifestyles many of us now lead have a really detrimental effect on your overall health.

“Moving around, in any way at all, has fantastic health benefits from improving your mood to helping your body deal better with toxins and illness.

“So whether you’re able to tear up the 10K or walk or jog the 5K or 2.5K, by getting out in the open and away from the computer and TV you will start reaping the benefits."

Sign up today and let’s all get active!
