The Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital on film

The latest in the series of film shorts about our hospitals has been uploaded to YouTube and covers some of the work of, the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital.


The new five-minute film is introduced by clinical director Prof Shakeel Saeed who talks about the hospital’s history and wide-ranging areas of expertise.

Dr Brigid MacArdle talks about the young patients with a range of hearing problems who go to see her and her colleagues ranging from doctors to specialist nurses, speech and language therapists, teachers of the deaf and clinical psychologists.

There’s also an explanation of the word done by the rhinologists and the voice specialists through short interviews with Peter Andrews and John Rubin. And finally we hear from a patient who speaks of the RNTNEH in glowing terms.
