UCLH CAR T-cell experts in the news

Last week NHS England announced that young people with a form of leukaemia are going to receive CAR-T therapy.

UCLH has the largest set of clinical trials of CAR T-cell therapy in Europe.

UCLH consultant haematologist Professor Emma Morris, appeared on BBC Breakfast to discuss the treatment, said CAR T represents "a real step change in how we treat cancers".

Professor Charles Swanton, UCLH clinical oncologist, said the announcement  that children will receive the therapy was "fantastic news."
