Urology outpatients now based on Westmoreland Street

21/09/2015 00:00
Today, urology outpatients moved to University College Hospital at Westmoreland Street, with all floors of the hospital open and treating patients.

“I am delighted that the refurbishment of Westmoreland Street is now complete. All urology outpatient clinics are now held here, as well as most urology services.” said Geoff Bellingan, medical director for UCLH's surgery and cancer board.

“Moving services is a big undertaking, but by doing so we are supporting our plan to create space to improve cancer services and develop urology and thoracic services which are both based at Westmoreland Street.”
The following services are now based at University College Hospital at Westmoreland Street:

  • Thoracic surgery
  • Andrology inpatients
  • Adolescent urology inpatients
  • Functional restorative and female urology inpatients
  • Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, X-ray, ultra sound (inpatient and outpatient),  and videocystometrogram
  • Inpatient stone team services (patients being admitted for operations)
  • Male reconstructive surgery
  • Robotic surgery
  • Uro-Oncology inpatients
  • All urology outpatients clinics and pre-assessment
