Vote for the Camden Patient Public Engagement Group

19/11/2014 00:00
The Camden Patient and Public Engagement Group (CPPEG) is a body that is currently composed of appointed members of general practice, Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) and nominated members of a number of key stakeholder groups in Camden (e.g. Age UK and Camden Carers Service).

CPPEG’s role is to give advice and guidance to the Camden Clinical Commissioning Group (Camden CCG) from a patient perspective, and to ensure that there is patient involvement at the beginning and during the Commissioning processes undertaken by Camden CCG.

The system of appointing members from PPGs onto CPPEG is being replaced by an election process in which all patients registered with Camden practices can take part. However, patients must register to vote. Patients who are members of PPGs may nominate themselves for election. There will be four members elected for each of the three localities, north, south and west for a period of three years. Patients who register to vote will therefore have up to four votes to cast in their locality.

If you wish to vote or if you wish to stand for election you must register by Friday 21st November.

If you have any questions you can contact Martin Emery, Community Ownership Manager by email: or Telephone: 020 3688 2044

Voting will open on 28/11/2014.
