World Hearing day – Saturday 3 March 2018

02/03/2018 00:00
Each year thousands of adults and children are treated by experts at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital for a range of conditions related to hearing.

Part of the UCLH group of hospitals, the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital has an international reputation as a centre of excellence, particularly for hearing services. The expert teams treat a range of conditions from hearing loss including cochlear implants, auditory processing disorders, intrusive tinnitus and debilitating balance problems.

Next year marks an important chapter in the history of the hospital. In 2019, it will relocate, together with the Eastman Dental Hospital to a new facility on Huntley Street, close to University College Hospital. The new facility will enable specialist teams to work together to provide seamless care for patients in a new, purpose built facility.
