How to refer - The London Sarcoma Service

Referral contact address:

Patients who have sarcomas at non-limb/trunk sites (abdomen, gynaecological, head and neck, thorax), or who have metastatic disease, are best referred initially to UCH. We will arrange for the patient to be discussed in the most appropriate site-specific MDT.

Access to patient results

The patient's GP will be informed of their patient having cancer within 24 hours by use of a fax pro-forma.  A more comprehensive letter will then follow within five days.
Tertiary referrals
Referrals are received from across London and South East England. The London Sarcoma Service and the Sarcoma Unit of the Royal Marsden Hospital together provide specialist sarcoma services within a managed sarcoma network covering London and South East England.

The service also receives a number of referrals from Trusts elsewhere in the UK, and from abroad.
