Adult Cerebral Palsy 

The service offers comprehensive multidisciplinary assessment and care to adults with cerebral palsy and neuro-disability. We accept referrals of patients over 16 years of age.

The team is composed of a Consultant neurologist, a Consultant in rehabilitation medicine, neuropsychologist, a clinical nurse specialist, an occupational therapist, a physiotherapist and a speech and language therapist.

The aims of the service are:

  • Help bridge the gap during transition from paediatric to adult services.
  • Offer specialist multi-disciplinary reviews tailored to your needs
  • Provide a key-working service as a point of contact for any concerns or queries
  • Help co-ordinate your care with other community services, specialist centres and healthcare professionals.

Services provided include multidisciplinary assessments, transition clinics, specialist therapy clinics, nurse-led telephone and video clinics.

Patient aftercare

Our service is able to offer multidisciplinary review appointments, telephone consultations and individual therapy appointments as required.
