Appointed stakeholder governor for University College London
Irving Taylor is Emeritus Professor of Surgery and a Clinical Teacher at UCL. He was Professor and Head of Surgery at UCL for 20 years and is past President of the European Society of Surgical Oncology, the British Association of Surgical Oncology and the Society of Academic and Research Surgeons. He was a member of the FtP directorate of the GMC and the council of the Royal College of Surgeons. He has published over 600 papers in peer review journals and is the author or editor of 34 books. He is married to Berry, and has three daughters and seven grandchildren.
