  • Extended hours on Grafton Way (proton beam therapy) site for concrete pours

Work on the Grafton Way site has entered the basement construction phase. This is expected to last until August 2018.

The construction of the basement requires some very large concrete pours to take place outside of usual working hours.

Camden Council have given Bouygues UK permission to carry out 16 long pours (from 7am to 8pm) and 10 very long pours (from 7am to 10pm) over the next year (between the end of June 2017 and August 2018). The pours require this time due to the sheer volume of concrete to be poured.

The table below shows in which months the out of hours concrete pours are currently planned.

Each day when there is a long concrete pour, Bouygues UK will be providing a respite area for residents of Paramount Court and Maple House at the 52 Club, 52 Gower Street, with seating, complimentary refreshments and WIFI. This will be open from 18.00 until the end of the pour.
