Ask an expert about children and young people's diabetes

This one hour web chat took place at:
2 - 3pm on Tuesday 29 October 2013.

With Halloween and half term just around the corner, it was a time for fun, sweets and treats.  But what if you have diabetes?

Our award winning children and young people’s diabetes team are on a mission to make sure that diabetes doesn’t get in the way of living life to the full, whatever day it is.  So if you’re a parent or carer of a child or young person with diabetes, from just diagnosed to having lived with the condition for some time and wanted to know about future research breakthroughs, our expert, Professor Peter Hindmarsh was on hand to answer your questions in our live webchat.  Peter is a professor of paediatric endocrinology at University College London and honorary consultant paediatric endocrinologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital and part of the multi-disciplinary award winning children and young people's diabetes service at UCLH.
