Professional background

Leanne Goh is a consultant in paediatric allergy, she leads the clinical service at University College London Hospital and co-leads GIANTS (GI Allergy Nutrition and Therapies Service) and joint dermatology-allergy services at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Her clinical experience also includes working in the paediatric allergy departments at St Mary's and St Thomas' Hospitals. She read medicine at Queen's University of Belfast and was awarded a distinction in her allergy MSc at Imperial College London.

She is an enthusiastic medical educator and was the Kings College London Allergy Academy education fellow in 2012-2013, she co-founded RISK (Responsive In situ Simulation for Kids) and is a course director for the Allergy Academy and ICH. She founded and is on the steering group for the GAP (gasto-allergy in paediatrics) network.

Research interests

Her current areas of interest include improving care for patients with complex multisystem allergic disease, particularly difficult those with eczema and allergic gastrointestinal disease.

She is particularly passionate about improving transition and care for under 25’s with allergic disease.
