I am an academic neurologist with honorary consultant status at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where I co-lead the NHS England nationally commissioned rare mitochondrial disorders service.
Research interests
My research combines clinical observations with laboratory approaches to better understand the molecular basis and pathophysiological mechanisms of primary mitochondrial diseases, with the ultimate aim of developing treatments.
