Spotlight on Sarcoma Day 2025

On 20 May 2025, the RNOH welcomed 70 nurses and AHPs from across the country to a 'Spotlight on Sarcoma' - a study day aimed at nurses and AHPs working in inpatient and outpatient settings. The day was organised by Jo Coleman, Abby McCarthy, Kate Scanlan and Gemma French with the aim of increasing knowledge of the management of sarcomas in the wider community. There were presentations on a variety of topics such as radiology, histopathology, surgery, oncology, rehabilitation and psychology and the day was generously sponsored by sarcoma charities and medical representatives. A survey was sent to all delegates following the day, and the feedback has been extremely positive!
