Our vision
UCLH Arts and Heritage believe in the unique power of the arts and heritage to help deliver top-quality patient care. Our vision is for every patient to experience the arts during their time at UCLH and to provide opportunities for staff to engage with the arts underpinned by world-class research and evaluation.
To achieve this vision five strategic aims have been identified:
- Improve patient experience
- Embed research and evaluation into all arts activity
- Work with local and specialist partners to develop a social prescribing service to support preventative care
- Improve staff experience
- Improve the financial sustainability of the arts and heritage programme
We recognise that these aims are ambitious and key to enabling them are closer integrated working within hospital departments, partnerships with local and national organisations, research expertise, and digital resources.
