Arts Apprentice

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the UCLH Arts team.

We are looking for applicants who have an interest in arts, heritage and health, are motivated, have good communication skills and have the ability to work on their own and as part of a team. This is an 18-month fixed term contract whereby you will be working towards an apprenticeship qualification in Cultural Heritage (L3 Diploma in Cultural Participation).

This is a supportive role and will enable applicants to gain practical experience of office work and arts programming in a healthcare setting. Apprentices are assigned a mentor from within the Trust.

We are committed to equality and diversity within our workforce and in all opportunities. Our recruitment process is open to all but we would particularly like to encourage applications from people of Black, Asian and ethnically diverse backgrounds, those who identify as LGBTQ+, those from lower socio-economic backgrounds and those who identify as disabled, as these groups are currently underrepresented in our teams and the cultural sector more widely.

Full details & how to apply can be found on the Current Vacancies page.

Artwork Donations

Much of our art collection is formed of generous donations from artists and collectors. UCLH Arts accepts artwork donations from artists, organisations and members of the public.
We endeavour to display as much of our collection as possible in staff and patient areas through our enhancement initiative. If you would like to offer an artwork donation to the collection, please email uclh.uclharts@nhs.net
