The Laryngectomee Club is a support group for people affected by a laryngectomy, including family, carers and friends. It provides a safe space to talk to others, share experiences or simply listen. The group is facilitated by a support and information specialist and a speech and language therapist. 

  

When is the group held?  

The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm.

  

Where does the group take place?   

The group meets at the Macmillan Support and Information Service, on the ground floor of the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre.

Information for people attending the group in person  
  • Please don't come to the Cancer Centre if you have symptoms of cold, flu or another infectious disease.

  • If possible, please arrive 15 minutes before the group starts. This will give you time to greet the other members of the group beforehand.
