The Infection Inpatient beds are based at UCH on a ward that includes 22 side rooms.
The multi-professional team on the ward has strong close working relationships with ward-based medical teams.
These include:
- Infectious diseases
- Respiratory
- Rheumatology
- Tropical medicine and
- Immunology
Infection is an ITU step down ward for patients with tracheostomies and care for patients on Non Invasive Ventilation.
