We were pleased to host a Macmillan coffee morning on Friday 29 September at the UCLH Macmillan Support and Information Service.

It was the first Macmillan coffee morning we've hosted since the pandemic. We enjoyed seeing both staff and patients spending time together and enjoying the cakes and pastries!

We were pleased to raise £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support. We couldn't have done it without the support of the following people:

  • Nicola Panara, Macmillan Support and Information admin team lead and wig specialist
  • Liz Kingdom, Macmillan Support and Information assistant general manager
  • Our lovely team of volunteers including Tulika and Penelope 
  • L'Express for their generous donation of coffee and pastries
  • Lidl for their equally generous donation of croissants and pastries.

It was such a great event and we look forward to hosting more Macmillan coffee mornings on the last Friday in September in the future years!
