The Cancer Clinical Trials Unit (CCTU) at UCLH is a team of research nurses, clinical trial practitioners and data managers. We work on cancer trials, testing new ways to:
- diagnose cancer earlier
- improve treatments
- manage side effects
Our goal is to give you more treatment choices, improve care today, and help people receive even better care in the future.
Finding a clinical trial
How do I find a trial at UCLH?
If you’re interested in taking part in a clinical trial, we recommend you talk to your healthcare team. They can help you find studies that may be suitable for you.
If you are not currently a UCLH patient, then talk to your local NHS cancer doctor. If they think that you may be suitable for a trial at UCLH, they can refer you to one of our specialist teams for an initial consultation.
Please note: you need to be resident in the UK and eligible for NHS treatment to access clinical trials.
You can visit our clinical trials web page to see current trials at UCLH.
