Martin Jacobs joined UCLH as a non-executive director on 1 January 2020. He spent 20 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he was a Partner within the Corporate Finance division. He provided corporate finance advice to both public and private sector clients. In particular he provided financial advice and brought commercial skills to a number of government departments including the Department of Health. He was Leader of Industry for Central Government.

Prior to his time at PwC Martin worked in banking for Samuel Montagu Ltd and HSBC. Martin now runs a plural career as a non-executive director and trustee.

Martin is a member of the audit committee, the finance and investment committee and the remuneration committee and he chairs the arts and heritage committee.
