I am so very grateful and proud to have worked at UCLH over the past 17 years as a nurse within the Paediatric and Emergency Divisions. When I went into nursing, I never imagined that my team would become some of my best friends. That I would look forward to coming to work to see my colleagues and the children and young people that I am so privileged to be able to help and support as they progress in life.
I want to ensure that each member of UCLH staff has the same experience and finds the same enjoyment in their professional career as I have. That is why I decided to become a Staff Governor.
Outside work I am a keen water polo player, swimmer, and skier. I am currently learning to sail, and this year completed the Around the Island Race (Isle of Wight).
