UCLH recruits first participant in Europe for a new trial in muscular dystrophy

In the UK in 2020, 23 million Novo Nordisk FlexPen and FlexTouch pre-filled devices were incinerated or sent to landfill as there was no viable recycling alternative. This is not sustainable. Novo Nordisk want to play their part in fixing this and have developed a new, innovative process that lets them recycle Novo pre-filled pens after use.
