NHS Staff Survey 2025 – we're the top recommended place to work for fourth year running!
12 March 2026
Publish date: 12 March 2026
We are delighted to have, once again, received the best score of all general acute and acute/community NHS trusts in England for staff that would recommend us as a place to work.
The NHS has continued to face challenges over the last year, but despite this:
87 per cent responded to say the care of patients/service users is the organisation’s top priority
UCLH has been voted the top recommended place to work for the fourth year running
87 per cent of our staff said ‘if friend/relative needed treatment, they would be happy with standard of care provided by the organisation’
Chief executive David Probert said: “To be named the top trust to work for in England for the fourth-year running is a magnificent achievement. It demonstrates the collective expertise, dedication, and kindness of everyone who works at UCLH, and we should all be extremely proud of this result. Thank you for all you do for our patients and each other.”
UCLH has continued to perform above the national average on all NHS People Promise indicators, with 5 out of the 7 indicators showing improvement on last year.
Other key results include being in line with the top scores nationally for compassionate and inclusive culture, as well as for staff engagement (our highest score to date).
Thank you to everyone who responded to the survey. Your feedback is so important for us to continue to support and improve your experience at work.
