I take patient safety, and staff and volunteer support seriously. I’m here to listen.
For a decade, I’ve been an NHS Governor of hospitals big and small. Also runner up Associate Non Executive Director. Plus other panels, Healthwatch, CCGs, Councils, and Patients Association to improve engagement.
I’ve worked with Freedom To Speak Up (NGO, Sir Robert Francis, NHS England), enabling support.
Former NHS volunteer (A&E, admin, wards, fundraising, childrens, wayfinding, etc).
I genuinely care about staff and volunteers.
I started young, being disabled.
A UCLH patient (brain AVM, HHT, epilepsy, speech, TIA/strokes, CIE).
There’s other rare genetic illnesses in my family so promote good global networks of research and information.
Also common illnesses serious, under diagnosed or invisible.
I've a Business Degree Human Resources B.Sc Hons and qualifications in computing, multimedia, psychology, and counselling. My work includes BBC/ITV, multi-media, charity/disabilities, and HR.
